Hey all fellow Canadians on this Zone BBS. What do you all think of the federal election campaign so far? I have almost always voted Liberal and was poised to do so this time too despite Paul Martin's known troubles since taking office, but their campaign has been such that I may have to take my vote elsewhere. Any thoughts?

Hey leaffan!
I will definitely be taking my vote elsewhere. The real big issue that has me upset is the desire of our government to start charging health care premiums/imposing user fees. I would never have thought that a government that has always believed in universal health care access for everyone would do such a thing.

HI,
I am a fellow Canadian Zone member. It's less than a week now before the election, and I'm still somewhat undecided. It's a toss between NDP and Conservatives. Liberals have been running this country for the past 11 years now. We need change, and a government that's accountable to everyone, and not just catering to the people with lots of money. It's time to stop wasteful spending as well.

Well, it is hard to say what we should do. Mr. Harper alleged that Paul Martin supports child pornography. That basically eliminates all respectability he may have had, and recent polls show it probably cost him a chance to govern. This is a good thing for the country. The 51st state we will not be, so if you aren't voting LIberal, vote nDP!
